Memorable Learning Experience

One class period on a B day I was in Mr. Jones class. It was one of the B days I have gotten back from my 10 day suspension. I wasn’t familiar with the work he was doing with the rest of the class. I politely asked him to slow down a bit and explain this more fluently so that I better understand it. He told me that I would have to try and catch up on my own and that he can slow down and he have to keep going because everyone else is caught up. At that point I was so mad and disgusted that a teacher won’t take the time to slow down and help one of his students. This is one of the negative learning experiences I have had. This all could’ve been avoided if he just took the time to help me out instead of shutting me out. I am very saddened by my absence out of school but I am trying to better myself by asking for help. I also understand that my absences gave me a disadvantage to learn and do class work. What happened to the no child left behind law? I feel left behind. I know it’s my fault but if I ask for help and don’t get it … it’s the teacher’s job and duty to give me the applicable help I need.

Theme.

The theme or the moral of the story is the fact that Troy Maxson used to play sports, He couldn't actually pursuit that dream because he was a negro and back then the white people still acted funny towards the blacks. He was good. He even said he was better than Jackie Robinson the one who broke the colored barrier. He is now worried for his son who wants to play sports and has scouts coming out to see him play. His father don't want him to get his hopes up just to get this dreams crushed.

Something I Hate Is When People Upload Provocative Photos Their Selves When they Are Nude Or Half Dressed On The Internet. With The Intention Of No One Being Able To See them But Her And A Selected Person. When Something ike This Happends It Shoots Down Their Confidence And Become Road Blockers When It Becomes Time To Find Someone To Love And Time To get A Job. This May Not Happen To Eveyone But It CAN Happen. When They Are Uploaded Onto A Computer They Are Gonna Be Up There Forever. This Happened To A Fourteen Year Old Girl Named Angie Varona 18, Says Posting Provocative Pictures Of Herself Online To A Photo Sharing Website Names Photobucket - At The Age Of Just 14 Has Ruined Her Life. She Was Repeatedly Called Names And A 'Porn Star' At Her High School After The Photos Spread Online, From Appearing In Porn Sites To Popping Up In Advertisements. Its Not Like She Posted Them For Everyone To See, She Posted Them And She Gave Her Then-Boyfriend A Password To View Them. Her Account Was Hacked!

I Really Do hate When People Do This Type Of Stuff Because I Know They have Heard Of Stories Of Teenagers Having Photos Spread All Over The Internet.

School Lunch

I do believe this school lunch is becoming more and more disgusting. The food looks worst than it tastes, who can we actually blame ?. I blame the New Haven lunch super. Sometimes I wonder if they eat the lunch they serve. Although we have sandwiches - no one really wants to eat that five days a week . I questioned two of the lunch ladies at my school and the told me that they don't eat the food. Its sad because there is nothing we can do. I know a petition from all new haven schools wont really work, but we can try though.


In the photo above it displays [ beef and white rice ] . The white rice was hard and soft at the same time. It was really hard on the outside and soft on the inside. The meat was stiff and hard. No one wants to drink milk everyday. If we get juice we don't get milk. Vice-versa. Its annoying because sometimes people don't have money to buy a water [ $1.25 ] , I thought we getting alot of choices and GOOD food !
